The Kidd’s Mill Bridge Park is situated upon approximately 9 acres of land in Transfer, Pennsylvania. The Park is located on Kidd’s Mill Bridge Road, which can be found by exiting PA Route 18 at Reynolds Industrial Park Road. You will see the bridge when you cross the Shenango River. The Park presently includes the Kidd’s Mill Bridge, the Bigler House, a well maintained parking area and scenic picnic area overlooking the Shenango River, a comfort station, a canoe launch, and the northern terminus of the 8 mile Shenango Hiking Trail.
The Shenango Conservancy is a Pennsylvania non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation. Annual Membership in the Shenango Conservancy is $5/Student; $15/Individual; $25/Family; $50/Business; or $250 Lifetime Membership. Annual Membership can be obtained by mailing your name, address, and appropriate check to 747 Greenville Road, Mercer, PA 16137-5023.
All donations are welcome at the same address.
Annual membership dues and all donations are used primarily for the upkeep of the Kidd’s Mill Bridge Park, associated structures and facilities, and the Shenango Trail.
Our Members receive periodic mailings about upcoming events such as trail hikes, canoe trips, Members meetings, the Gobble Wobble, etc., and Conservancy news.
If you would like to serve on the Board of the Shenango Conservancy, or if you would like to volunteer your time for any of our annual events (like the spring wildflower hike, the fall leaf hike, the Gobble Wobble, and/or the Annual Members Meeting) and/or upkeep of the Kidd’s Mill Bridge Park structures and facilities, please contact us as indicated below, or contact any Board Member.
